Our
first camp in Chile started in 2008 with the help of Dr. Becca Johnson. Since then Chile has added
several additional camps.
Last year Dr. Johnson asked us if we could come to Chile and put on a Train-the-Trainer camp to train the local people there to run their own training center so local Chileans would not have to travel to America just for the training.
Glenn Garvin, RFK VP of Camps, and I are making plans to travel to Chile in January of 2013 to hold this Train-the Trainer camp. We’ll have interpreters there, but we are also looking through our Royal Family network for people with camp knowledge and Spanish language skills.
The local Chileans will take care of us once we are there, but we will have to cover the costs of getting there and back.
We are excited about setting up a training center somewhere in South America and we hope to start something that can take the model of Royal Family to many countries there.
We are saddened by the number of children around the world who are living with abuse, abandonment and neglect, but we are thrilled to be a small part of bringing the "Royal Treatment" to some of those children and making an eternal difference in their lives.
The costs of the travel and basic amenities will be around $1500 - $2000 dollars per person. If you would like to help support this opportunity for the Train-the-Trained camp in Chile, please hold us up in your prayers, and if you'd like to financially contribute, you can send a donation to:
Royal Family KIDS, C/O Chile 2013, 3000 W MacArthur Blvd. Ste 412 Santa Ana CA 92704.
This
is a great opportunity we can’t pass up.
Thanks for any part you may share with us.
